You can win with that Tannehill contract as long as you don't pay Henry a lot of money. Henry's going to get paid with the contract Tannehill just got. Easier said than done obviously since Tannehill likely wanted a bit longer, but I feel like you take that loss and try to move up in the draft. Titans are close if they can get the right production out of their QB relative to what they pay their QB. If Tannehill is even close to his last season, they are legitimate contenders. LEGITIMATE contenders. Better be this year then at $23 million per sportac. Goes to $30 mil and then $34 mil the 2 years after. Lots of big ifs for them to continue on the contender path. The window is very short and they still have to pay Henry.

The new CBA allows them to pay him that cash and they are a young team. Henry is going to get a tag IMO. The problem isn't the window the problem is the margin for error with a middle of the road QB. Leader
ProFootballTalk - Falcons will release Devonta Freeman. //// Teams with more cash will keep his market higher than we'd want to pay/play at - but I'd like a healthy Devonta in our backfield. He's kinda a tweener between Jones and Williams. A bit more of a bruiser than Jones. A bit quicker/shiftier than Williams. Dexter? Cant fit him into this equation yet. Leader
Adam Schefter - Titans placed franchise tag on RB Derrick Henry. //// Dont know their roster/FA status as a team, but they've crossed off their top two "needs" - okay, Tannehill might not excite...but he is a consistent presence....and with DH back hauling the rock.....just say'in

JBURGE
Deandre Hopkins potentially on the block...... okay yes please. If we're going all in, go all in lol. Draft a RT with whatever the 1st pick is and if he sucks, Billy Turner could stop gap at RT. Edited March 16, 2020 by JBURGE

Leader
Tom Pelissero - Vikings QB Kirk Cousins' contract extension clears $10 million in 2020 cap space, source said. He was due $29.5 million in final year of his old contract. Now under contract for three years, $96 million, including $61M fully guaranteed. ///// For whatever its worth.....Cousins.....even with all the uncertainty, indecision and "We're not sure he's the guy" perceptions that have dogged his career.....has made an absolute MINT. Maybe, could be a 2nd. I'd do it in a heartbeat for a 2nd. Wouldn't have traded for him 5 years ago.
