Browns signing Joseph at safety mean their done with Randall too?

He does seem like quite the PITA.  Of course, I am basing that off of twitter, where I think he is hilarious, but not sure that I would want him to represent me.

PFT - Most of the top players on the free agent market have found new deals. But things are curiously quiet for wide receiver Robby Anderson. The Jets free agent is one of just six of the top 50 players on PFT’s Free Agent Top 100 list. While his camp could be better at almost everyone in the league at keeping things quiet, it more likely means he hasn’t found the dollar figures he expected. With Amari Cooper re-signed by the Cowboys and A.J. Green franchised by the Bengals, Anderson’s the top receiver left on the market. A deep draft at the position may not be helping, but things have been strangely silent for Anderson so far.

////

With the limited resources we have versus other teams.....I'll be surprised if Anderson hangs around long enough - and his $$$ drops enough - for us to be a player. Eventually, somebody with more cash is gonna pick him up. At this stage, Lazard might be the only WR action we see till draft day.

Realistically with the signing of Lewis, we've probably only got about 2 million left. That's assuming we don't cut Taylor or restructure Z

8 for the roll over. 2 for the rookies.

Doubt we roll 8 over with the Rodgers cap jump. Gute's presser regarding the skill positions makes me know we aren't done. The guy has done what he's said he was going to do in every off-season. Unless his plans are to just ignore fatties and load up on skills in the draft, leaving us weak at the two most important positions in football, this team has a couple moves left pre-draft.

We rolled over more than 8 last year, and that was with an aging QB. We didn't break our 3rd contract rule for Bulaga or our "Don't pay ILBs" rule for Martinez.

I just don't think we're throwing the playbook out the window. Gute looks like he is still following the Ted Thompson playbook, we just don't realize it because we actually had BIG cap space for the first time in a long time last year.

The question now is if he's going to break his own rules and do the things necessary to get really aggressive.
