I would argue that Hyde and Randall as the #2 and #3 really meant we just had 3 below average starters and there wasn't a ton of ground to gain as far as adding bodies, but that's a fair point. It doesn't address the point being made here though. The Harrison and Veldheer acquisitions are an extreme rarity and a completely unique situation respectively. Tyler Ervin, Tavon Austin, Chandon Sullivan, Daffney, I mean Gute churns up the bottom of the roster far more than Ted ever did in season. Early to mid TT era ... agreed, he did a good job. Last few years of his era ... not so good.
