Leader
Field Yates - With Leonard Fournette re-signing with the Buccaneers, Tampa Bay will now become the first team in the salary cap era (since 1994) to bring back all 22 starters from their Super Bowl victory. Still not sure what the hell happened with that guy. Just cashing checks while putting in the minimal amount of effort ?

Some day I really want to go back and just sort of spot check his game film over his career, see if there's a clear inflection point or anything. It's strange because he had been a consistent player who lived up to his draft billing right up until the end of 2016, then it was off the cliff. My wild guess back then was that he figured sitting back and trying to collect interceptions was a whole lot easier than doing the dirty work. I remember thinking that when guys were getting paid for their numbers at the time. I could have been wrong then and now though Edited March 26, 2021 by cannondale

It was rumored that he went downhill after he made the Pro Bowl. Guys started telling him how much he was going to kill it with his second contract. Then it seemed like he started making frequent "business decisions" on the field and that became the norm in how he played. And it has cost him big time. And it's sad. ThatJerkDave
It is also kind of odd if you just look at stats. He definitely regressed, but he had consistent tackle, INT, and PD numbers in his first five seasons. And a slight, but not precipitous drop in his one season with the Bears, and to be fair, his running mate that season, Eddie Jackson, made the Pro Bowl. His decline is 100% eyeball test confirmed. You probably can't even tell if you just look at the stats. But anyone that watches could tell that something was up. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/ClinHa00.htm
Chili
For me it's simple, HaHa stopped tackling. For whatever reason he stopped making tackles. There was a youtube video i saw a long time ago highlighting his consistent avoidance of making tackles. He would only tackle when he absolutely had to. He would often be last to make the "tackle" when the player was already brought down by a teammate to pad his stats. There were moments where he just stands there in front of the player and wait for him to go down or someone else to bring him down. There was a big mentality change. Instead of being a steady reliable operator he became tackle shy and more focused on the big play. Edited March 27, 2021 by Chili
Leader
Albert Breer - It's very similar to the Chiefs hanging on to Alex Smith in 2017. The Niners in 2021, like the Chiefs in '17, are going into Year 5 of a program. The Niners, like the Chiefs, are in a position to contend now. The Niners, like the Chiefs, could draft a QB who's a little raw.
deltarich87
17-game season is upon us. As expected, GB's 17th game will be at Kansas City. Packers road schedule is absolutely brutal Looks like they'll alternate yearly with AFC teams hosting NFC this year and NFC hosting AFC teams next year and so on
HighCalebR
And at least 1 member of the pack unhappy with that news.

Add extra regular season game and only make 1 playoff team get a BYE. NFL cares about player safety though!
