Quite honestly, the only place it wouldn't have been a home game, other than NOLA is Dallas. The Cowboy fans would have shown up because of how much they hate us because they can't beat us. Just illustrates not getting drafted on day 3 matters. Edited September 2, 2021 by Green19

Teams generally have one 7th rounder per year, whereas they sign easily more than 5 UDFAs per year. The success rate is still lower.
vegas492
It better to be drafted, no doubt. Not sure just how many actual draft picks are made in rounds 6 and 7. But I'm guessing that is a whole lot less than what didn't get drafted that end up being undrafted free agents free to sign wherever they want and fight for a job. You would 1000% cut a fringe guy if his medicals showed he was at higher risk of missing games throughout the year. Now imagine a guy who is not only at risk of missing games himself, but who also could force other players on the team to miss time as well. I'm sure every coach and GM in the league is thinking about this the same way as Meyer, he's just the only one (so far) saying it out loud. Fair points. On the other hand, Urban Meyer is the f'in worst.
Leader
Sportico - Raiders Stadium Again Needs Backup Funds to Meet Debt Payment - For the second time in six months, Nevada's Clark County has to pull millions of dollars from reserve funds to meet payment on the Las Vegas Raiders one year old stadium. By the time the Allegiant Stadium debt is retired, Clark County will have paid $709 million in interest on top of the $645 million in principal for its financing of the football stadium. It was hilarious....we're in the "dart throw" part, and someone drafted a fringe player just because he'd scored a td in the game we were watching. Everyone, even including his opponent, thought it was hilarious.
Brat&Beer
Jurrell Casey retires. Missed most of 2020 with a torn biceps. Released by Broncos in February. Made 5 straight Pro Bowls with Titans from 2015-2019.

Leader
ProFootballTalk - It had been so widely reported that it had been regarded as a given. Now, it’s been said. On Thursday, an executive from Pegula Sports and Entertainment publicly confirmed that the Bills won’t sign a new lease at their current stadium in Buffalo without an agreement in place to build a new stadium there. “No, we absolutely will not,” Ron Raccuia told WBEN radio, via the Associated Press. With two years left on their lease, the implication is clear: get a deal for a new stadium in place within the next two seasons, or see the Bills leave.
