In this first situation - assuming FA remain static, I don't think so. Again, the only really plausible is if Kirk is tagged one more year to allow for the rookie to be groomed. But that simply seems like a toxic situation.

The second time we do this (post FA), should yield radically different results.

Went with Payne. Guice was a close 2nd, but with a pretty deep RB class, DT seems more fitting here.

With the way the picks have flowed I see it as Josh Allen. I don't think he lasts out of the top 3 picks though.

This mock assumes Cousins resigns with the Redskins though.

I think redskins sign like Hill or something to complement Thompson. Gruden does like Perine .

I went with Payne but forgot about Vita. Not saying I would change my pick with the way Payne played in the playoffs\championship game. You can't discredit tape, but I've read that Vita is a more talented Dontari Poe. Meaning he is going to post outrageous numbers at the combine for his size but has better tape than Poe did coming out. Close between him and Payne, but I bet Vita rises this off season and Payne is probably at his peak value now.

Redskins just took Jon Allen a DT in the first last year, and Kirk is probably gone. I don't think very highly of Allen but I think it'd be the direction they go.
