RpMc
Still makes #3 true.. he prioritized potentially playing in the Olympics over the NHL. He chose to sign the contract.

MNPackfan32
Wild really need to tank. Bottom out. Get a top 2 pick and land either Hughes or Kakko. That's how this thing gets better. I'd look at trading Staal, Dubnyk and Coyle for minimal returns. I'd listen to offers on Spurgeon and Zucker but I wouldn't move them for cheap.
RpMc
I'm in agreement with you to a point. Coyle should be an attractive piece as a deadline player because of his cheap contract and ability to mix into the middle six as a wing or center, Staal would instantly give teams a jump in a middle six center spot with some ability to punch in goals, and Dubynk could be of interest to a team like San Jose. I wouldn't sell them cheaply, but i'd sell them for their current value (2nd or 3rd round picks). Spurgeon should take no less than a first and a good prospect if a team wants him; Zucker is someone I'd be leery to trade just because he's the one player on the roster who's shown the ability to put the puck in the net over the last few years (other than Staal).
VIKINGS101011
Possibly the only good thing Fenton has done so far is it seems like he has established a good relationship with Kaprizov. All signs point to him coming over after next year when his KHL contract is up.

Yep and Spurgeon and Zucker have very valuable traits. The part that scares me with trading Zucker is, the Wild are already a pretty slow team. Then take Zucker away? Yikes. I agree, I'd have to get a haul for Spurgeon, but somebody might be willing to pay it for his skillset.

Donato has some of the upside to be better than Coyle left, though Coyle right now is a more proven commodity. Most likely Donato's floor is basically just being another Coyle. VikeManDan
Only downside is he's another left handed shot. Other than that I like the move, hopefully more moves coming!

Heimdallr
The Loons are hosting Hertha Berlin for a friendly on May 22. They are actually a Euro-caliber Bundesliga club, which is a huge step up from Leon (Mexico) and Saprisa (Costa Rica) from the last two years. Shoots the puck (9 shots attempted - unheard of outside Parise and Staal), understands offensive spacing, and can't argue with two assists in his debut
The Gnat
Good signing as a super utility player. Hopefully doesn't hurt Astudilo's chances to make the roster.
