skywindO2
Sashes are the best thing on soccer jerseys, 100% that's why LA won.
Heimdallr
We just flat out played terrible in the first half. Things were better in the 2nd half but then it was too late. I think a combination of a 9:30 start time, 3 weeks of travel in a row, and Heath being gone sort of deflated the team. In the first two weeks we controlled games with the fullbacks overlapping but LA did a great job pressuring the wings which broke up our plan of attack and they really exposed Calvo and Schuller on the left side. I thought Abu Danladi was great off the bench and would not be surprised if he (or Finlay) started instead of Schuller next game. Schuller's hybrid CM/LW role was a neat experiment but it might be time to just get some speed and attacking ability on the field.
gopherwrestler
So we are not going to win the soccer championship anymore?

There is the Supporter's Shield (most points during the MLS season), MLS Cup (playoff champion) and US Open Cup (nationwide tournament, including lower division teams)

Well the US Open Cup is completely unrelated to MLS, so not really. There really isn't anything analogous in other US sports.

Yeah definitely definitely came out flat last night, but since we've had 3 straight road games, and not having a head coach last night it wasn't a surprising result. On the brightside once they got going in the 2nd half they kept it competitive until the final whistle. Finlay and Danladi both appear to be healthy and ready to go. That should help us out quite a bit as we have so much more depth this year than in years past. On a side note did you see FC Cincinnati's pregame stuff today? Looks like they are going to have a fun atmosphere at their home games

Heimdallr
Even if you aren't going there for a game, the brew hall looks like one of the best place in the city to get a beer. Especially in the summer when all the glass garage doors are open.

Heimdallr
Just another reason why Minnesota is better than Wisconsin, and why Minneapolis is a top-10 city.
skywindO2
Chart should probably say Twin Cities instead of Minneapolis, especially if they're using Bay Area.
