So.... the Super Bowl. Are you more or less excited about this matchup?

On one hand, you don't get the low  ratings and Boles/Fortles QB LOLZ.

And while you get a team to root against in a love to hate, there is Patriots fatigue and some were hoping for Minnesota because of the homefield possibility.

And these teams are very different compared to their SB 39 matchup (Philly doesn't have the starpower of that game).

Are you more or less excited about this as opposed to if one of/both of the Jags/VIkings had won?

More. This is the matchup I wanted ,personally, for the nostalgia factor from 04.

Although, I do like the Vikings, but I wouldn't have wanted to face them as I'd expect a verrrry tough game.

If your not expecting a tough game from the Eagles, you are in for a rude awakening

If in the middle of the season you asked who are the best teams in the NFL you'd say the Eagles were the class of the NFC and the Patriots (with the possible debate of the Steelers at the time) in the AFC. I'm always about the two best teams playing each other for the championship. Cinderalla stories are nice once in a blue moon (Pats in 01, Giants in 07, Ravens in 12) unless it's a compelling story, I just want to see who is the best. To me the only question on the Eagles was could they do it after the injury to Wentz, they did. They earned their spot. The Patriots were the best in the AFC all year and fought the battles to prove it.

This is what it should be. The fact that it's a rematch, the fact that it's two big markets, maybe that adds to the hype. But this is what it should be.

Controversy follows us around. I guarantee something will happen to plunge the game into a shroud of skullduggery.

Ahh..gotcha!  Indeed the Pats always have drama.  Add in the fact that "Mr. Index card" (Steratore) will be officiating it and the Philly fans are bound to do something stupid in the stands, it should shape-up to be entertaining for the fans of the other 30 teams. B|
