Is there really more than one candidate for this?

At this point, he’s the consensus choice. I’ve been using the same format for years and everyone has different views on this particular question. One guy, I mentioned before was Eli Rogers, which no one else brought up in his draft class year.

Aside from nitpicking, feel free to drop your predictions.

I wasn't criticizing you.  Just saying that stories like his don't come around often, so I'd be surprised if anyone answered anything else.

Why do you say this? His speed shouldn't be disputed. It's clear on film that he's incredibly fast and he ran a 21.4 200m in high school...he's got speed. He should destroy the jumps, that much is also pretty apparent on film when you see him jumping up to catch the ball. He isn't expected to kill the agility drills so he would have to bomb them to fail to meet expectations, but I don't see him bombing them...I actually think it's more likely he does better than expected there.

How I see it, he needs to run in the 4.4 range to be a 1st-2nd rounder. If somehow, he runs a 4.6, he’s in the 3rd-4th round range.

NFL teams won't drop him if he runs a 4.6 because they already know he's fast (and also because it won't happen). They won't raise him if he runs a 4.4 because they already know he's fast.

Washington ran a 10.73 100m in high school and ran a 21.4 200m in high school. For comparisons sake, John Ross ran a 10.66 100m and 21.56 200m in high school. You can't say that James Washington isn't fast when you can literally see it for yourself by watching him run. Or you can go by the official numbers recorded by his state verifying that he had the kind of speed in high school that gets guys on put on watch for the Olympics.

I think James Washington runs in the 4.3s.  He's FAST.
