Should be some good ones this year with all the guys that left school early.

Z trade 4. Ham cut that takes cap space to around 34M, fyi. They also have to have some room in case of injuries as well, so they don't get caught like happened that one season when they had little room and were picking up OTs off the street left and right. gopherwrestler
Dalvin is Goin Fishin. I wonder if he will have time to bond with any future teammates there?

Now subtract $750k from each one to take into account the top 51 rule. Maybe I should have worded my original statement better. The Vikings will only need ~$2.5M in cap space to sign their current picks. That graphic shows the cap hit of the rookie contracts, which does equal to ~$6M. But it doesn’t take into account the smaller cap hits that will fall off the top 51 list. Quote The effective cap space needed is equal to: Rookie Pool - ($750,000 * number of picks). Actually it’s only $2M total. Spotrac is giving you the numbers of JUST the rookie contracts. It is not taking into account the veteran contracts that will fall out of the top 51 when the rookies are signed. The Vikings have the 23rd, 87th, 119th, 158th, and 211th picks. The estimated 2023 cap numbers for those picks are: $2,632,032 for the 23rd pick $998,958 for the 87th pick $952,398 for the 119th pick $832,923 for the 158th pick $785,917 for the 211th pick That equals $6,202,228 cap numbers for all 5 picks. However, only the 23rd, 87th, and 119th picks are high enough to affect the top 51 cutoff. Those three picks equal $4,583,388. Those three contracts will then replace the lowest three contracts currently meeting the top 51 cut off, which would be Theo Jackson ($870,000), Ryan Wright ($871,666), and Luigi Vilain ($876,666). Those contracts, equaling $2,618,332, subtracted from the rookie’s cap figures leaves $1,965,056 in cap space needed to sign the current rookie pool. swede700
I'm assuming that's the competition for Reagor in the punt return game.
