Deadpulse Posted January 27, 2018 Share Posted January 27, 2018 Hello and welcome to the Total Control Mock Draft Patriots War Room! I have been selected as the GM of the Patriots for this event. There is a few ways this can be run in the sub forum, but what I really want is to get as many people involved as possible. So before I do anything else, I want to staff the following positions: Assistant General Manager - My right hand man who will be authorized to make the final say when I am not available. Pretty much everything I myself can do. Head Coach - The HC will be the 3rd man down the pole when it comes to decision making. Mostly, the HC will be responsible for managing the OC and DC, the trio will be responsible for giving myself and the AGM a good idea of what positions to target and how our needs should be ranked so we can decide what resources to allocate.The HC and the coordinators will be in charge of evaluating the FA market. Offensive Coordinator - In charge of evaluating the offensive roster and reporting positions of need. Coordinators will continue to evaluate the roster as it changes. Defensive Coordinator - see OC but for the defensive side of the ball Head Scout - the HS will serve a similar purpose to as the HC, and will be the 4th man on the decision making totem pole. The HS also reports up to myself and the AGM. The HS's responsibility will be managing the scouts, who they should target, and what positions they should focus on based on the coaching staff's recommendations. The HS will have the power to blacklist or highlight potential draft prospects. Scouts - Hoping to have about 5 dedicated scouts to serve under the HS. Position assignments will be in flux or static depending on how the mock goes. Our teams have traded a decent amount in real life since we hired Bob Quinn and I'd imagine I'll have interest in some of your players since we're getting Patricia from you guys now as well.
