Absolutely, that and the back to back 3 and outs that our defense put up is always a solid.

I am sure that the Vikings defense will be good as long as Mike Zimmer is there.

I mean, as long as Bortles is our QB...people are going to predict that probably.  But it's not like we completely steamrolled the regular season last year.  We only had like 10 wins, and lost some games we really should've won already.  How much of a cliff can this team really fall off of from there?

We do seem pretty vulnerable if key injuries strike certain positions though.  But trying to predict injuries is like...darts in the dark.

We won alot of games by a decent amount of points too though. Everyone is vulnerable if certain injuries occur though

We underperformed record wise.

Points For: 417 (26.1/g) 5th of 32

Points Against: 268 (16.8/g) 2nd of 32

Expected W-L: 11.8-4.2

SRS: 6.54 (6th of 32),  SOS: -2.77

We accidentally had the perfect formula for that "projection" metric though.  We had blowout wins, but based on hard to repeat defensive turnovers/scores.  If you don't recognize last year's scores as a potentially misleading statistical basis...you don't understand statistics probably.

If you remove every one of our defensive TDs, it changes everything to:

Points For: 368 (23.0/g) 10th of 32

Points Against: 268 (16.8/g) 2nd of 32

Expected W-L: 10.8-5.2

SRS: 6.54 (6th of 32),  SOS: -2.77

Still underperformed.

In fact, you could cut our offensive point total down to 332 (20.75/g) good for 20th in the league, and still only get us to a 10-6 expected record.
