Even if Flacco is coming back week 1, Mallett doesn't deserve to be QB2. At the very least we can sign someone capable of competing for the spot other than PS guys. coordinator0 Posted August 30, 2017 Author Share Posted August 30, 2017 So, by 4 P.M. EST this Saturday rosters have to be down to 53 players. The problem with that for the Ravens is they have players that need to be on the 53 man roster, and then moved to IR the next day. They are: Tim White, Nico Siragusa, Alex Lewis, Albert McClellan, Tavon Young, and possibly Maurice Canady. Kenneth Dixon could either go on IR or the suspended list, but either way it looks like he's going to be part of the initial 53-man roster too. That's 6 or 7 players that the Ravens will want to have on the team but cut from their roster during the cutdown period. Ouch. Thought to be fair with how familiar I am with Langford I'm not sure he's going to be great for the Ravens.
