The fact that it may work out in the end doesn’t make passing on Darnold the right move. If you need a QB, and a top tier prospect is there for you, you take them, plain and simple. The fact the Giants refused to take a QB (or even move down a few spots for a slew of picks if they weren’t going to take one) only to take a RB at 2 in 2018 is mind boggling.
