JBURGE
Welcome to the Vancouver Skyline Expansion! **This is a continuation of a thread I started on the old site. Here is the link to that: http://www.footballsfuture.com/phpBB2/posting.php?mode=editpost&p=21579459 Warning, I suck at NBA so I will be very bad. But I will be bored all night since I got called off work and tomorrow I have off so I figure if I get invested enough in this I will keep it going. Also I usually cheat and always trade up for the prospect I want and it gets boring fast, so having you people judge me will keep me from doing that. I should mention that I love players who are Offense+ and average defense. My starting 4 of the future will have range and likely undersized. Center is my least fav position, and is usually a + rebounder and defender. Offense for the center isn't high on my priority list unless a stud who has mid range comes up who is actually attainable. I will be playing game 4 of every playoff series on 6 minute quarters. All Star difficulty until I get better. All draft classes will be auto generated. I won't trade up in the draft ever. I will try to avoid doing manual trades - I will never do unfair trades. (as of 2018/19) I will no longer be selecting inside the top 5 of the draft. If I get a pick there I will have to trade down. I copied this layout from MKnight This is a myLeague, not myGM. The latter is just too much to deal with  Here is the custom stadium and jerseys I made... please like them McDonalds Play Place Home Jersey Away Jersey

PF - Chris Bosh (75 OVR) - 0 min Res. PF - Lance Eaton (70 OVR) - 0 min This is a weird roster. Definitely a downgrade from last year, but like I said, this was to be expected. I wouldn't have been able to afford Marai next year, and Ulis is already making $22/yr and he would hav eaffected me being able to sign the twin towers next year 2021/22 Strategy After winning the NBA championship this past year, I traded 3 of my top 6 players. Usually that's not a recipe for success, but I really didn't like Pisike Marai, I didn't have minutes for Jeremy Jacobsen, and I replaced Ulis for a younger PG. Trading those 3 guys netted me three 1st round picks. I'm going to look to see what I can get for Christie on either December 15th or at the break, since I won't be re-signing him. JBURGE
At the break I am 35-22 with no trade offers for Christie. Oh well, I will keep him for the rest of the year and let him walk in FA. I got enough draft picks from the rest of the guys I moved. 2022 Draft Class 1 [G / Boris Floyd / 6'2 6'2 WS 194lbs / Connecticut / 77 OVR / A- Potential 2 C / Willis Baldwin / 7'0 7'3 WS 263 / Alabama / 73 OVR / B+ Potential 3 SG / Gerald Scott / 6'7 7'1 WS 199 / UC San Diego / 73 OVR / B+ Potential 4 SG / Trent Soto / 6'4 6'4 WS 206 / Maryland / 70 OVR / B- Potential 5 C / Vlado Jeremic / 7'4 7'1 WS 276 / Serbia / 70 OVR / B Potential 6 PG / Monte Milton / 6'0 6'6 WS 173 / Canada / 69 OVR / B- Potential 7 SG / Ray Keefe / 6'7 6'10 WS 209 / Seton Hall / 71 OVR / B Potential 8 SG / Roderick Meredith / 6'5 6'8 WS 183 / Syracuse / 73 OVR / B Potential 9 PF / Troy Holmes / 7'0 7'8 WS 252 / Kansas / 69 OVR / B+ Potential 10 SG / Joel Dillon / 6'6 6'8 WS 190 / Evansville / 68 OVR / B- Potential Pretty weak class overall, but some decent projects. PF Troy Holmes has REALLY good size. He is a pylon, but he starts as a plus defender with upside. Monte Milton is the dream right now. He has long arms but A+ playmaking and 93 speed... yes please. Ray Keefe would be my 2nd option - a really good shooter with good speed. Gerald Scott is similar and he can score inside, but he will be gone in the top 5. Same with Boris Floyd - he is going to develop into an offensive star at the point. Contract Extensions C Dell Carroll 3 yrs/$77MM PF Samuel Bellamy 3yrs/$81MM I front-loaded both of these contract cause they would do it, and I will have cap space next year. The two towers are locked into another 3 years <

Superstar difficulty. Top Scorers: C D Carroll - 44 PG B Walton - 24 PF S Bellamy - 24 SG J Harden - 54 PG D Murray - 30 SF J Johnson- 20 Field Goals – (Rockets) 45%, (Skyline) 48% 3 Points – (Rockets) 32%, (Skyline) 25% Free Throws – (Rockets) 64%, (Skyline) 83% Points in the Paint – (Rockets) 76, (Skyline) 60 Bench Points – (Rockets) 34, (Skyline) 16 Offensive Rebounds – (Rockets)14, (Skyline) 12 Defensive Rebounds – (Rockets) 42, (Skyline) 62 Steals – (Rockets) 18, (Skyline) 6 Blocks – (Rockets) 4, (Skyline) 14 So, I had a lot of turnovers. That killed me. Also, James Harden is impossible to guard... Looking like my chances to repeat are slim. Louis Banks. I love him as a shooter, but MAN, he is TERRIBLE defensively. Not that guarding Harden is easy, but he couldn't guard the backups. They run right by him. Hopefully I may be able to get a more well rounded SG and Banks can come off the bench again as the 6/7 man. Game 5 *SIMMED* Final Score 118-102 Skyline Win Rockets lead series 3-2 Game 6 *SIMMED* Final Score 106-96 Skyline Win Series is tied 3-3 Game 7 Skyline Win[/u] Skyline win series 4-3 I am playing every 4th game and 7th game if required. 6 minute quarters with stats adjusted for 12 mins. This game went a lot better. I was ctually able to find a jump shot with a couple guys. Bellamy is deadly from the corner...
