The team (Buccaneers) announced on Monday that they have signed two defensive ends to their 90-man roster. They are former Titan Mehdi Abdesmad and rookie Hendrick Ekpe. They placed defensive end Justin Trattou on injured reserve and waived running back Blake Sims.

Trattou is the former Viking, but also of note is that Ekpe is a former Gopher.

Audie Cole, a linebacker the Jaguars signed in free agency in March, was released today. The Jaguars paid him a $100,000 signing bonus that he’ll get to keep, but they don’t owe him any more money beyond that.

Herbie Teope is reporting that the Saints have signed veteran LB Audie Cole to a contract on Monday.

The Saints are quickly becoming Vikings South to join the Seahawks as Vikings West:

Zach Line

Adrian Peterson

Michael Mauti

Audie Cole

I think the Panthers still have more former Vikings.

True...although since Charles Johnson has already been ousted, they're down to 7 now:

Kurt Coleman

Matt Kalil

Zach Moore

Captain Munnerlyn

Joe Webb

David Yankey

Toby Johnson

So, they're the reigning kings of former Vikings.

The Colts have decided to move on from punter Jeff Locke, releasing him on Monday.

The contract signed by Locke with the Colts gave him a $750,000 roster bonus on March 12. It also carried a $1 million base salary for 2017, $500,000 of which is fully guaranteed. But the guarantee is subject to offset language, which will give the Colts a dollar-for-dollar offset if Locke lands elsewhere.

The Buccaneers have yet to officially announce any moves, but reports of some have started trickling out. In addition to releasing defensive end George Johnson, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports the team has also waived wide receiver Shaq Hill, defensive lineman Mehdi Abdesmad, offensive lineman Josh Allen, tight end Tevin Westbrook, linebacker Richie Brown and cornerback Mariel Cooper.

According to Mike Reiss and Field Yates of ESPN.com, the Patriots have traded cornerback Justin Coleman to the Seahawks in exchange for a late-round pick.

The Patriots initially signed him off the Seahawks practice squad in 2015.

I can't understand how any real NFL personnel guy  can look at T.J.'s tape and sign off on bringing him in.

Kerin was.... OK I guess? Never going to be anything more than a PS guy.

Robinson should stick around for a while as a backup, but he isn't any better than Erin Henderson, or Mike Mauti, or any of the other LBs the Vikings have lost in the last 3-4 seasons

Because they see a prototypical sized offensive lineman with great lengrh and plus athleticism, who's only issue is really his fundamentals and technique. Coaches have egos and think that they can teach/fix those issues that another coach couldn't.

I would not be shocked to see Clemmings turn into a legit offensive lineman (even if it's as a reserve lineman) under the tutelage of Bill Callahan.

Robinson should at bare minimum be a good special teams player I think.
