However, given the fact that the team very clearly chose Westherly over Odenigbo, I don’t see him coming back. Not unless they bring him back as a 10th d-lineman. Cousins goes down and Mond struggles or gets overwhelmed (possibly hurting his overall development), Mannion is a nice safety net, imo. While Mannion doesn't really bring a lot on the field, I think he's more prepared for it than Mond at this point. I'm certainly going to trust him more than I would have trusted Browning. Hopefully it doesn't come to that, but it is always nice to have guys that know the system that are in game shape and available for the team to sign.
