Gosh...has anyone, with that much talent, ever had more rotten luck then Greg Childs?? I hope he makes it!
swede700
Quote The Saints won’t lose defensive end George Johnson. Johnson, who was set to become a free agent next week, has re-signed with the Saints, according to Field Yates of ESPN. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/03/07/saints-keep-defensive-end-george-johnson-for-another-year/
swede700
The Buccaneers will pick up the one-year option for 2018 on the contracts for tackle Demar Dotson, safety Chris Conte, and defensive back Josh Robinson, according to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times (on Twitter). https://www.profootballrumors.com/2018/03/bucs-demar-dotson-chris-conte
vike daddy
The Titans announced that they’ve told quarterback Matt Cassel and wide receiver Eric Weems that they will be dropped from the roster. Cassel joined the Titans in 2016 and spent the last two seasons backing up Marcus Mariota. He started one game in each season and completed 55-of-93 passes for 446 yards, three touchdowns and four interceptions. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/03/09/titans-will-release-matt-cassel-eric-weems/ Edited March 9, 2018 by vike daddy
SteelKing728
I'm guessing Cassel won't be signing anywhere. His ride is over. I haven't heard Robinson's name since he left. Has he gotten any better?

swede700
I'm not sure he'd find any other takers elsewhere any way. He could back up David Johnson and be their primary goal line back.
vike daddy
The 49ers have signed punter Jeff Locke to a one-year deal. Locke played five games for the Lions last season while Sam Martin was injured. In four seasons with the Vikings, from 2013-16, Locke averaged 43.2 yards per punt, with a 38.7 net and 101 punts downed inside the 20. He will provide competition for Bradley Pinion, who is entering the final year of his deal with the 49ers. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/03/12/49ers-sign-jeff-locke/

SteelKing728
I'm glad for Jake Long. I just hope his quality of life doesn't go significantly down because of prior injury once he ages and his bones/muscle become weaker.

Cearbhall
Getting comp consideration back for Brock is a decent return on the investment the team made in him. Gave up a 7th round pick, got a year of use as depth out of him, and get a pick back later (or at least prevent the cancellation out of some other pick).
