vike daddy
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Falcons are cutting wide receiver Laquon Treadwell. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/09/05/falcons-release-wideout-laquon-treadwell/
SemperFeist
So much for their “all 1st rounder offense”. Treadwell might be my biggest miss in the draft.
vike daddy
The Bengals know they’re going to be without Trae Waynes for several months, so they cleared a roster spot while holding out some hope he could return. The team announced that Waynes had been placed on injured reserve. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/09/07/bengals-put-trae-waynes-on-ir-bring-back-torry-mctyer/

I could tell the Holton Hill was struggling but I didn't think he was struggling that badly. Certainly there are some other bad CBs in the league. 99 of 104 is brutal for a starting CB. That is worse than most third CBs and some fourth CBs, like Gladney (who isn't much better but at least he wasn't one of the teams top three).

vike daddy
On this day in 2000, Robert Smith rushed for 170 yards at Chicago to break the #Vikings franchise record for career rushing yards. Smith finished his career with 6,818 rushing yards, which now ranks 2nd in team history.

SemperFeist
Hindsight is 20/20, but out of the 3 players that Vikings fans were most adamant about wanting in that 2014 draft, the Vikings drafted the worst one. And Barr is a dang good player, too.
