We'd have to win all but two games the rest of the way to win the division. That's not gonna happen. We need to root for the Vikings because we'll probably be competing with the Saints for a wildcard more than the Vikings with the division. Saints first round pick is just a bonus. Why arent we playing for the Division? MN loses here's the standings: MN - 4+3+1 CHI - 4+3 GB - 3+3+1 DET - 3+4 We've now got the tie break over CHI - a tie with MN - and a loss against DET - and we play each of them again. MN loses tonight - its anybody's game for the division - so what puts it out of reach? Your projection of how / what games we'll win going forward? The Vikings lead grows, I'd agree, but right now we still have a shot at the division because those teams could all split with each other. You could see the Vikes and Bears around 5-6 losses each. Root against the 6-1 team because we're closer to them in the WC (they lead their division btw) but if we beat in Minny we're likely ahead them, but we want them to win because we're too far behind?
