So if we make the playoffs, it’s looking like:

Game 1: Bieber

Game 2: Clevinger

Game 3: Plesac or Cookie

Game 4: Bieber again or Cookie?

Kluber won’t be ready. Just put him in the bullpen.

gotta bump everyone back because Bieber prolly pitches in the play in game. Why dont you think Kluber will be back in time, especially before cookie. It looks like they are setting up for Cookie to be a bullpen arm, dude was flirting with 97 in Lake County the other day. I say that cause Kluber is already a couple rehab appearances in and Cookie just started throwing to live batter

Kluber just got shut down for two weeks with an oblique strain.  He is most likely going to be done for the rest of the season.

Seriously annoying. I have sling which uses dish. Thank god for Reddit streams.

We got rid of our cable, and are now streaming everything with PSVue and Philo.

Best decision I've made in a long time.  (Hell, it is the only decision I've been allowed to make in the 25 years we've been married.)

That being said, the team doesn't need any more days off.  Take a day off and crap the bed defensively they way they have in the 6th innng?  Cancel the rest of the off days.  >:(

wow what happened out there in the 6th

It wasn't just the 6th, which was atrocious.

The team as a whole has been flat.

Lots of 0-fers through the batting order.

Characteristic of Francola's Indians teams on occasion.

Best case, although the prospect of a one-and-done doesn't exactly excite me.

True but w wildcard in Cleveland excited me. Last time it happen, the stadium was crazy. This time around this is a better team to handle that pressure

With how tough our closing schedule is, we're going have to finish strong just to make the wildcard (only 1.5 ahead of Oakland and Tampa right now for the 2 spots).

How about this. It looks like, at current paces, the AL will have two teams miss the playoffs with +100 or higher run differentials (Boston at +81 currently, Us/Tampa/Oak all +91-+98). Whereas the NL has three teams still in the wildcard race with negative run differentials (Philly, Milwaukee, SF). The AL is much more clearly tiered this year, whereas the NL is the Dodgers and then who the flip knows. There are two NL clubs that are well and truly out of it, then another three that might as well be without a miracle run. Whereas the AL has 8 teams with no shot whatsoever at this point.
