Yes, it was against Detroit. Which highlights just how much Plutko sucks. Indians are amazing at developing pitchers. But there is also absolutely no need to move Clevinger this year if his value is not maximized. For a pitcher of his caliber, we need to be getting at least 2 high-end/MLB ready guys who can play everyday in the lineup, preferably with big bats at the corner outfield spots. To keep running them out in the 2-4 holes is insanity given their pathetic performance. who the hell do you put in those spots? OPS leaders for the team is Reyes, JRam, and Santana. Our top4 offensive WAR is #1 JRam #2 Reyes #3Cesar and #4 Santana You act like its easy to shuffle this line up, there is no one you could put in those spots. Reyes should be the #4 potentially but Santana has the best on base % for the team. Santana getting on, helps Reyes as a hitter. Reyes' slash with bases empty .220/.278./340 Reyes' slash with men on .390/.447/.756 If anything, I would more so reshuffle. Keep Plesac. He has time to mature. Clev needs to go given his contract situation and we can get good value out of him. At some point I want: Bieber Cookie Plesac Civale Mckenzie Unless you want to use our arms for the bullpen. candyman93
Just a reminder that this franchise traded away Corey Kluber + Trevor Bauer and haven’t missed a beat. I know people hater the Kluber deal, but if there’s a pitcher the Indians like, you’ve gotta trust them. Emmanuel Clase could have untapped potential.
