Just because they played 1/3 of the season doesn’t mean they can make multiple 3 days rest starts. We did that Kluber and basically ruined him. you might blow out the pitching start in the division league series if you try and pitch only your top3. Only way it works out is if the Indians win the series quick. I don’t see that happening. also opposing teams will have the same issues heck look at ‘16. Kluber made 6 starts in the postseason and he was done by that 6th start. Kluber did that by also having travel days to help give rest. Won’t have that. By chance the Indians make it to the World Series. Most likely will get Bieber pitching game 1 and 5 and won’t be able to pitch him for a potential game 7. Also in the league series we might not even get Bieber to pitch in game 1 Truly need Tito to be back for the playoffs so he can manage the pitching staff and how they will be used. Reread what you just posted. Your argument doesn’t make any sense. There’s no scenario in which Bieber would pitch in a game 7 according to you. In a 7 game series, you’re trying to win every single game. You don’t just “forfeit a game” for the long term. That’s how you lose a series. Every game is as important as a game 7.
