It’s a stupid rule. Like most baseball rules.

whats the point of baseball, if you know what exactly the pitcher is pitching? It would basically destroy pitching. You cant look back at the catcher as a hitter, so why is it fair to have a camera focusing on the catcher and by having a data base of signs, is able to tip the batters what is going to be thrown. kind of a huge deal when you look at the BAs from the '17 season and now.

Would it be far if coaches had long range microphones focused on coordinators so they knew exactly what was called, so they knew what offensive or defensive call to make?

Yeah sure if you’re stupid enough to not cover your face and if the other team can decode your play calling and get it back to their team go for it.

well pitchers have signs but how do they know they are suppose to change them, especially if no one is on base or isnt on 2nd???

you truly cant change your signs every at bat and for every pitcher. only answer is allowing pitchers and catcher to wear mics for one another

Francona should put his health first and retire.

I don't want the team to be in a situation where he ends up passing away during the season and they need to replace him quickly.

Sitting at home on the couch doesn’t make you healthier and coaching baseball doesn’t cause blood clots.

If he’s cleared by his docs and wants to coach, I don’t see any rational reason he shouldn’t.

The cherry on the Dolan legacy sundae will be a wimpish or obscure name for the team.

Just change the name to the tribe. They can’t be offended by that right?

I dont see how or why its not changed from Cleveland Indians to Cleveland Tribe.

1) Its not offensive

2) 'Tribe' depicts unity, team, togetherness

3) It keeps the Native American theme

4) Its already their nickname, seamless transition

5) No headache of a massive image overhaul

Its almost too easy for them to screw up. Why overthink it and end up with a team name like the Cleveland Dragons

Exactly. Now he knows his issues. He can be on meds that greatly reduce the chances of clots.
