Foles vs. Wentz - what will the Eagles do??

Wentz's injury situation kind of throws a wrench to this. On one hand, you would love to sell high on Foles and get a potential 1st rounder or a high 2nd rounder. On the other hand, you don't want to move him if there is any doubt Wentz will be ready for week 1. If you don't trade him this offseason, you will lose him for nothing the following year when he is a FA.

I would only trade foles for a top 10 pick or multiple picks

Either way acl tears are 12 month injury and he was injured late in the year.

I would trade him next year on the last week of the trade deadline.

Not anymore they aren't.

LOL you play too many video games if you think there is a single team in the league that will give a first round pick AND some change for Nick frigging Foles...

Teams probably won't but they could. Nick Foles' upside is proven Superbowl. That's more than the bulk of starting QBs. By virtue of that argument alone, Foles is worth a #1 pick and some change.

1) He did not play the entire season. This makes a big difference.

2) He has been in the league for 6 years and has played for what...3 teams now. That should tell you what those teams' coaches saw in him during practice. They didn't see any worth in him just like we , as fans, didn't see any worth him after one good season.

Foles is an average to good backup QB and that is all. The Eagles staff getting the best out of him does not change this.
