Deadpulse
http://www.bostonherald.com/sports/patriots/2017/07/patriots_notebook_rob_ninkovich_expected_to_retire_today Really kills our DE depth. Gonna miss him big time, always seem to come up big when it was needed.
I_GET_SAX
Always had good timing for sacks or forced fumbles. #50 has some rich history here in NE. Vrabel and Ninj represent well. Will miss him. We'll see if Grissom and Ealy are ready to play a big role. Flowers NEEDS another good year.
1ForTheThumb
Sounds like they have Van Noy lining up as the Nink role in camp. Interesting. gonna miss Nink. Super clutch, class act Patriot.
ChazStandard
Very sad to see that news. We don't have much depth at DE, and he was always an important player at critical times. 2 rings and some impact plays in key moments - is he a Patriots HoF possibility? dhunt2402
Such a well-respected guy and a great, underappreciated player for many years. From a football perspective this was probably the right time for him to retire but they'll definitely miss his leadership and experience.

You still have guys like Vince Wilfork, Richard Seymour, Adam Vinatieri, Deion Branch, Rodney Harrison, Mike Vrabel, Matt Light, Lawyer Milloy, and Wes Welker. And those are only the guys that played in the BB era.
