49erurtaza
Hopefully he has learned from his failures. For the colts to be successful unfortunately it has to do with luck being healthy for them.
MacReady
Just out of curiosity (I swear I'm not trying to make a point or anything because I honestly don't know), could somebody post Brady's numbers with/without McDaniels?

Well, so long as he doesn't draft LaMar Jackson or Baker Mayfield #3 overall, I'd say there's a good chance he has.
vikingsrule
QB situation should be fine for McDaniels with Luck and Brissett. As long he doesn't mess with that and hires a good defensive coach, I think this could be successful. If McDaniels tries to blow everything up again, he's not going to last. McDaniels wasn't there in the first few years when Brady was just a "game manager", so overall I'm sure his numbers are far better with than without. But the sample of 2009 to 2011 when McDaniels wasn't coaching Brady and Brady in his prime, those years do not stand out as low years for Brady. 2009 was a bit low, but he was coming back from ACL. 2010 and 2011 are in the top 5 best stat years for Brady. As long as there's someone competent as a QB coach, I'm sure Brady will be fine.
paul-mac
There was a rumor on Sunday that this was off, so I have too imagine this means Belichick is definitely staying (whereas if BB was retiring McDaniels would have taken over the Pats)

He just needs to avoid opening with another 20-minute, expletive-filled rant about how he's the new boss in town and the qbs are nothing.

Rogerthat
Colts will be taking a QB at 3.
Rogerthat
Chad Pennington has a better arm than Luck at this point. Draft a QB

N4L
They would be foolish in my opinion to draft a QB at #3 overall. Brisset played decently well for them in a system he was unfamiliar with as he obviously got there late in the process. Now with the McDaniels hire he is obviously already well versed in this offense, so I would imagine that they will roll with Luck/Brissett next year and go from there. If luck cant go, then then you at minimum have a serviceable stop gap who is young with some upside while you try to find another guy. If luck can go, then great, you have a solid backup QB who is young.
