D82
So basically in a few years we're going to be looking at flag football. Yay...

I wouldn’t go that far, but the three helmet penalties they called were not penalties. All three were clean hits.

I saw them, if they're going to be calling that on a consistent basis...defense might as well just go away.
DaBoys
I don't like it one bit. If it's a big hit, someone is getting a penalty. Probably depends on who wins. If a RB trucks a defender hard? Penalty. Big hit over the middle? Penalty.

I have a feeling that we’ll see an ish-ton of those calls early on until figure everything out.

The rule is stupid. I get player safety, but there is also a reason these are highly comped individuals.
WizardHawk
Browns traded WR Coleman to Bills for a pick. Wonder if they're clearing a spot for Dez ?

MightyMouse07
Haven’t heard any good news about Dak. That worries me.

I would’ve traded a late round pick to Cleveland for Coleman.

On the bright side, we haven’t heard any bad news, either. Seeing that the first preseason game hasn’t even taken place yet, I don’t think we need to start worrying. And this is coming from me, a well known Dak non-supporter.

Well there have been a few reports that are less than glowing. Honestly, the reason for the lack of news this year compared to most may be the fact that the offense just isn't doing anything worth mentioning. https://clutchpoints.com/cowboys-news-dak-prescott-continues-to-struggle-during-training-camp/ https://sportsday.dallasnews.com/dallas-cowboys/cowboys/2018/08/04/impressive-rookie-cowboys-camp-michael-gallup-leighton-vander-esch-bo-scarbrough-connor-williams-dak-prescott-dorance-armstrong-dalton-schultz-mike-white https://www.star-telegram.com/sports/nfl/dallas-cowboys/article215959625.html I think the fair counter is that Dak Prescott has NEVER looked good at camp. He's a gamer. He didn't start looking good till preseason his rookie year. And he was pretty bad in camp last year but seemed fine once the season started. Though last year was a big struggle for him.
MightyMouse07
This is the point in the year where everyone “looks their best” and is in the best shape of their life and are hitting their targets in the chest. So when you aren’t hearing that about Dak, it doesn’t look like a good sign.

DaBoys
We never get trades like that. if he were traded to us we would have given up two firsts. And if he were traded away from us, we would eventually just cut him before receiving compensation.
