Texas_OutLaw7
Historically speaking, Dallas retains less than half of all FA's. So who would you end up keeping? We will end up voting on all of them. Alfred Morris, RB - Not re-signed. Keith Smith, FB (RFA) Brice Butler, WR Joe Looney, G - Signed short term deal. Jonathan Cooper, G Byron Bell, RT L.P. Ladouceur, LS Stephen Paea, DT David Irving, DT (RFA) DeMarcus Lawrence, DE - Signed long term deal. Anthony Hitchens, ILB Kyle Wilber, OLB Bene Benwikere, CB This list won't include anyone who is a ERFA. What should we do with: Brice Butler, WR
Texas_OutLaw7
I think this one is also pretty clear. No one expect Butler back in Dallas media. I expect him to sign elsewhere on a prove it deal.
WizardHawk
He's going to replace Dez as the #1 WR. tbh, I had to open thread to realize we were talking about Butler. I forgot about him.
Super4
I mean, all jokes aside I like him alot more than I like Williams but there's no way are able to dump William's contract or justify paying him that money and not giving him #2 snaps. This right here. Outside of blocking, Butler is the much better everywhere than T.Will. Even T.Will's best routes, the crossing routes, Butler was filling that role even better (see the San Francisco game in 2017). I think he's going to have a decent year as a WR2/WR3 for another team that will feed him 40+targets next year. Heck...might even get picked back up by the Raiders. DaBoys
I agree with liking him more than TWill. I also agree it is best to let him go. For whatever reason the staff likes TWill better, and are now financially obligated to stay with him. Dez isn't going anywhere, and Butler said the only way he'd come back is if one of them left. Sorry Brice.
