The extension matches the term of HC Matt Patricia’s new deal with the team - both tied to Detroit for five years
X_Factor_40
I'm really excited about it. I've been a Patriots fan as long as I've been a lions fan, and I really like the direction the Lions are going in. They've brought in some great football minds and I think this team has a bright future.
Lions017
I like what he has done so far, most I also feel like Quinn has yet to really have that draft where he hits a home run. He seems to be pretty consistently bringing in solid players, but I would love to see him draft a star or two soon.

I’d like to see him snag a star or two from the mid/late rounds out of nowhere that can contribute in an impact role. That would really set him apart from the poor GM’s in the past. Although, solid drafts from top to bottom are a huge improvement. What separates the great teams in the NFL from bad or even good teams is depth across the roster, and that starts with solid drafts. This will be a big offseason to see what direction the team goes with the new coaching staff.
