MOSteelers56
I'd hate it if the 1st round fell like that for the Steelers. I suppose CB could be the pick although it isn't a huge need. Also Oliver is a returner so maybe he'll get some burn there. He won't be an immediate impact player on defense unless of injury. Haden will most likely be back and Burns is looking to rebound, plus we have Cameron Sutton who played well in limited snaps, Mike Hilton, who looked decent in the slot, and Brian Allen who is a size/speed guy that stuck around on the roster all year. The drafting of Oliver would be a long term play. That's not a terrible call given how the 1st round played out. It would be hard to pass up Evans in the 1st but you redeemed yourself and we got him in the second. That's a risky move not taking him in the 1st, IMO. The only real critique I have is, I'd skip QB for the Steelers this year completely. We drafted our developmental guy in Dobbs last year. Landry Jones is signed as our #2 and Ben said he wants to play out his contract(2 years left) plus some. I'd take Jessie Bates or Armani Watts. Safety is arguably our biggest need. Saquon Barkley- RB- Penn St.-------I'd take Darnold #1 just to be safe, but we get him at 4. 4. Sam Darnold- QB- USC-------Again, I'd swap the first and 4th selections, but I love both guys. 33. Mike Hughes- CB- C. Florida-------I've only seen him play once live, but apparently he's pretty good. Nice. 35. Christian Kirk- WR- Texas A&M-------Great pick. Fits what we need on offense. 64. Jamarco Jones- OT- Ohio St.-------We could use another OT. I think Jones is a little overrated, but not a bad pick here. 65. Josey Jewell- LB- Iowa-------Great value pick. We don't really need a LB, but Jewel is a baller. 103. Derrick Nnadi- DT- Florida St.-------Least favorite pick. He's a good player, but our DT room is overloaded with great young talent. No room for another. 125. Duke Ejiofor- LB- Wake Forest-------Ejiofor is going to go much higher methinks. He's also a DE. Great pick for us here though. 139. Scott Quessenberry- C- UCLA-------Love Quessenberry. He's going to be a starter own the road for someone. Tretter (our C) has been average at best thus far. 160. Mike Jones- CB- Temple-------Who? 179. Salesi Uhatafe- G- Utah-------We don't really need any more guards either. We have 2 excellent starters and a great backup swing player in Drango. 223. Jeff Badet- WR- Oklahoma-------Meh...but "meh" is to be expected in round 7. Overall, great work. Obviously took a lot of time. I'm too lazy to do a 1 round pick most years. I'd be happy with this draft, especially if we were able to find a FS in FA.
Tetsujin
As for the Derwin James selection, Miami's got both their good safeties locked up for the next few years.
scar988
Quote 26. Atl- Maurice Hurst- DT- Michigan A true 3-T in the first round isn't a horrible choice at all. Hurst would be a good fit. Quote 58. Atl- Isaiah Wynn- G- Georgia He could play LG in Atlanta and be a massive upgrade, Quote 90. Atl- Jerome Baker- LB- Ohio St. 94. Min- Taven Bryan- DT- Florida While I don't think LB is a huge need with Duke, Deion and De'Vondre all working out well for the Falcons, Bryan would give Atlanta a player for that Michael Bennett role that would have worked. Quote 128. Atl- Terrell Edmunds- S- Virginia Tech Depth at safety is always good to have. Quote 204. Atl- Nick Stevens- QB- Colorado St. A backup QB is never a bad thing to have. Quote 248. Atl- Andrew Nelson- OT- Penn St. Depth at OT is also nice to have.
FalconFan13
ATLANTA FALCONS 26. Maurice Hurst- DT- Michigan 58. Isaiah Wynn- G- Georgia 90. Jerome Baker- LB- Ohio St. 128. Terrell Edmunds- S- Virginia Tech 204. Nick Stevens- QB- Colorado St. 248. Andrew Nelson- OT- Penn St. I fricken love this draft for the Falcons it gets an A+ from me and if we can get a FA TE + WR and then resign Poe this would be awesome. I do agree with Scar that we need a SDE like Taven Bryan since we are losing Adrian Clayborn in FA. I do like Baker but he is actually the opposite type of LB we even need in the 1st place as we need a run thumping MLB if we do get one at all so Debo can move to WLB. The 3 LB's we already have in Duke, Debo, and Campbell are all better already than Baker is. So as scar said replace Baker with Bryan and this draft is about as perfect as you can get. Then in FA for the Falcons we can get any combo of this Eifert or Graham at TE + Amendola or Landry or any solid WR + maybe Zack Brown MLB + Resign Poe and restructure Levitre at OG for a few more years. Let Wynn cover RG and Levitre LG.
Trentwannabe
Not adding any LB's which is arguably Buffalo's biggest need after QB is upsetting. Also Buffalo has the Jags 5th round from the Dareus trade. All in all though, I love the Payne, Davis, Gesicki and Ragnow picks and could get on board with Jackson because of Daboll at OC. JLambert58
If Rashaan Evans falls to 60, I will do backflips. Zero chance the Steelers take QB Riley Ferguson in the 3rd rd.
Jason_Bengal_Fl
You know the Bengals biggest need is a LT, right?
Zantku
Replace Dallas Goedert with Rashad Evans. Then Auden Tate for Antonio Callaway. Lastly Will Richardson for Austin Goldston. Then it's a solid draft for the Titans. The Titans don't need a tightend at all. We need OLB, G, ILB, SS, DE, CB, C, RB, WR.
Dr.O
Rather go Baker Mayfield, Will Hernandez, Dorance Armstrong instead of Josh Allen, Arden Key, Deon Cain.

Duffman57
This has a chance to be nearly a perfect Chargers draft, and it's just so, so awful right now. Starting with the 1st pick. How the hell did you look at our roster and think "yep they need to address CB". Da'Ron Payne is a pretty consensus pick for us right now, and we could use the help and a future NT. In the 2nd, Rashaan Evans is a guy I'd consider in the 1st. Getting him in the second is a no brainer. He's nothing special, but he does everything so well, and is a very physical LB. He'd fit right in as a Sam LB in our scheme. I'm tempted to say Wynn, because he's SO good, but Evans makes more sense. In the 3rd, I have a borderline 1st round grade on Ragnow, and we need a C. I'm all over that. I'd consider taking Lauletta there if there wasn't anyone else on the board, but Ragnow is too good IMO. I don't really like Faulk, he just doesn't have the upside as a starter IMO. In the 5th, assuming Boston is coming back, I don't really see a S being taken at all. I don't see a whole ton of guys on the need board left, so give me Hercules Mata'afa there, upside as a pass rusher is huge. In the 5th, give me Kalen Ballage. We could use a 3rd RB, and REALLY need a KR, he fills both roles VERY well. In the 6th, WR is another position where we absolutely don't need another guy at. Give me Darius Leonard here, pretty big upside, and is good value here. In the last round give me a kicker. Carlson works, but my personal preference is Eddy Pineiro who's my favorite kicker in this draft. Payne Evans Ragnow Mata'afa Ballage Leonard Pinero Is about as good a draft as you're going to get IMO for the Chargers.
