WeaponX
Purdue played not only a good team. A great team. Louisville. If we’re doubting any teams’ opponents in this matchup, it should be our own.
JammerHammer21
Louisville is not a great team. There is nothing to support them being a great team beyond having Lamar Jackson. They got whooped by an actual great team, and their defense is supremely mediocre. Purdue has yet to play a defense that's remotely good, let alone one as talented and frenetic as Michigan's. Maybe Brohm has a bunch of tricks up his sleeve (he probably does) and can get the offense to make plays, especially with Michigan's young corners, but Michigan's defense is light years more talented than anyone they've played Edited September 23, 2017 by JammerHammer21
IDOG_det
Michigan is the better team, but I still wouldn't overlook Purdue. That offense is legit.

Yea Louisville lost a ton from last year, they are an 8-4 type team.

Typical_Lions
I think Purdue only had 15 yards in the second half, and on the play they got 6 of those yards they fumbled and turned it over. Don Brown is so good at making adjustments.
JammerHammer21
10 yards. But yeah, Don Brown is unreal. Thank goodness no other program ever thought to sign the mad scientist from the east coast.
WeaponX
Good win. That was a little too close all game long. Nice to see O'Korn make some plays. But this offense has a very, very long way to go. Props to Purdue. That's a good football team.

I do wonder how long they will be able to keep him though.

JammerHammer21
Wiltfong put in a CB for Ekiyor to Bama, but he said he did it because he was wrong on where he would commit the first time, so it doesn't hurt him at this point since he's already been wrong on Ekiyor EDIT: Lorenz said he might put in a CB for Ekiyor, and Isaiah Hole did put one in, so that's not great. And then Wiltfong followed it up saying he thinks Alabama now leads, which he should have just led with start. It does make sense that Ekiyor would consider (and probably flip to Alabama) as Cesar Ruiz is going to be the starter at center the next few years. The kid has to do what is best for him and as much as it would suck to lose such a talented player I won't be mad. Now Otis Reese....
