Was just looking at the roster. This team has a ton of returning starters and contributors next year.

Expectations are going to be very high.

The schedule is also going to be very difficult.

In South Bend against Notre Dame to start the Season. Home against Wisconsin and then on the road against Michigan State the next week. In Columbus against Ohio State to close out the season.

@ ND, vs. Wisc. @ MSU, @ OSU

That's brutal.

So far, the 2018 recruiting class looks pretty bad compared to previous classes.

But the 2019 class already seems to have some good pieces and a lot more potential than 2018.

I wouldn’t be down on the 2018 class that much. It’s probably going to have a very strong finish and be top 10 when it’s all said and done with only around 20 guys in it. That’s still pretty good.

Yeah the 2018 class will finish just fine. Looking good for JaMarr Chase, Tyler Friday, and not in a bad position for Anoma, Petit-Frere, and a couple others.

Next year I have high expectations for the team despite (and maybe even because of the tough schedule) due to the high number of returning players. And if Winovich comes back...hoo boy.

In other news, Drake Harris is xferring. Expectedly, Mo Ways and Malzone are soon too according to the rumor mill. Unexpectedly, JaRaymond Hall (freshman) is xferring. Probably saw that he was not gonna be a starter any time soon and decided to move on.

Ole Miss has granted star quarterback Shea Patterson permission to talk other schools to explore possibly transferring, a source with knowledge of the situation confirmed to ESPN.

As first reported by the Ole Miss Spirit, Michigan is presumed to be the front-runner for Patterson's services, a source told ESPN. The source also said that Patterson is looking for "stability at offensive coordinator."

Based on the depth chart I have running, Michigan returns all starters on defense as of right now except Hurst. So 10/11 starters on defense.

And on offense, Michigan returns all starters except a LT, C, and FB. So 8/11 starters on offense.

This was a crazy young team this year.

And if Shea Patterson actually happens and he's granted a waiver to play immediately, we're looking at a team returning 10/11 starters on offense and 8/11 starters on defense with a stud QB.

If Patterson doesn't happen or if he's not granted a waiver, I'm still excited with what Peters has and think the team should be much improved compared to this season.
