If we lose D.I. and don't draft a single DT in the first two rounds, I will be pretty pissed.

Haha you might be mad but our team would be so much better.

We are without Irving most of the time anyway. We still have Collins and Crawford who can(and is probably more effective) play inside.  I would be okay going into camp with Derwin James, Will Hernandez

DE: Lawrence, Taco, Ejifor, Tapper

DT: Collins, Crawford, and one of these guys:

58 DL  DERRICK NNADI - FLORIDA STATE
80 DL  DA'SHAWN HAND - ALABAMA
81 DL  LOWELL LOTULELEI - UTAH
85 DL  TRENTON THOMPSON - GEORGIA
93 DL  RASHEEM GREEN - USC
100 DL  R.J. MCINTOSH - MIAMI
104 DL  KENDRICK NORTON - MIAMI
108 DL  NATHAN SHEPHERD - FORT HAYS STATE
116 DL  BREELAND SPEAKS - MISSISSIPPI
125 DL  TIM SETTLE - VIRGINIA TECH

Vita Vea is one of my faves though. So ditching Irving for 33 and going:

19: Vita Vea

33: Isaiah Wynn/Will Hernandez

50: Malik Jefferson, Sony Michel, Dallas Goedert, Mark Andrews, or enter your favorite normal 2nd rounder because Wynn and Hernandez will be gone I'm sure.

I think they should slap a first round tender on him, and let him walk if another team offers top 10ish money for him. With that said, I think the BEST thing to do would be trying to sign him to a long term deal at a fair price, where any significant money is performance based. It would be stupid for him to sign such a long term deal, but put some "right now" money in front of a young hungry player and he might disregard his agent's advice...

I hate these types of situations, though, where off-field issues are in play; as fans we only know so much.
