Fitz fills in for Jameis if he's suspended. We can't rely on Griffin. I think we'll keep Sims and McClain. McDonald deserves another year. I think Murray deserves another year, as he's one of the most accurate kickers in franchise history. Bounce retires, so we bring in Butler. Norwell is an obvious choice. We've got a hole at NT that Lotulelei fills right away. Murphy is a 3/4 OLB who has flashed in Washington. We give him a one year prove it deal. He helps with our newfound 3/4 fascination. We'll have plenty of cap space again next off-season. DJax won't be guaranteed anymore and we can cut guys like Sweezy, Ayers, Dotson, and Robinson. And we'll have a bunch more who are no longer under contract. I'd expect us to be around $45M or so before we have to extend Evans, Marpet, Kwon, and D Smith. Which will keep us in good position to extend everyone else the following year. I think we reach and take Davenport at seven. Guice is a no-brainer. Ragnow brings us versatility and a potential replacement for Sweezy. Jamerson brings us size to the back end. Love gives us more 3/4 options. King gives us size at CB. Hector gives a potential backup to McCoy and maybe even a future replacement. Whatcha think?
REDandPEWTER
Man no love huh? Lol. I’ll take a shot. Signings I love: loutelli , Norwell and Murphy. I think they add toughness and physicality to the lines. Murphy would play DE. I don’t want to sign Butler. Thinking it’s a sign that Bellichik wanted to pay Gilmore over Butler the top CB money. And the saints rather took a late first rounder for cooks instead of Malcom Butler for when they needed secondary help. And I side with Bellichik over Butler. There is a reason he was benched and he won’t say it. The draft: well I’m torn on Davenport to be honest. I think there is more overall better players than Davenport at 7. I think Fitzpatrick or Nelson will be there at 7 or vita Vea. Guys I’m overall higher on than Davenport who I think is a huge project that isn’t the athlete of a Ziggy Ansah. If you were to trade down with say a team like Arizona who is desperate for a Qb, then yeah I’d take a look at him there. Not top 10 though. I hope Guice is there in round 2. I’m thinking no though unfortunately. I am a fan of Ragnow and Jamerson. I think we sign a back in FA. Hyde or Darkwa are my favorites.
bucsfan333
I'm torn on Butler too. But I think Licht will pay him if Bounce retires. I'm also torn on Davenport. I absolutely agree guys like Fitz and Nelson are better prospects. But we've reached on needs before, and I think we'll do it again. I think we keep Sims. He's our third down back and he can pass block. Two things Koetter loves.
