Lets hear it man.

I just edited the top post to include some links.

You know where I stand on the big issues. In regards to Apple, we need to see where he stands. We are absolutely not going to give him away. So let’s hear the offers.

Right, I'm not giving him away for sure, it's why I'm asking your opinion.  He was drafted 1st round but his age is getting in the way of him being a solid corner.  If he can get his act together he could be a keeper.

The inquires I've gotten about him are just that wanting to know what I'd want or value him at.

As for trading down from #2, I've got the Bills interested with getting both 1st round picks (21-22) as well as Cordy Glenn, but his base salary is so high it would kill our cap, they are willing to package Miller and Mills though.  I'm still in talks with the deal including one of their 2nd round picks as well.  Its a far drop from 2 but it would give us some solid picks that would save our cap issue.

Also, the Jets have shown interest in moving up from 6 that would also get us their 2nd rounder as well.

What do you think of either of these offers?

Ill wouldn’t trade Apple for at least a 3rd maybe a 2nd. We wouldn’t get any cap relief trading him. Too much talent to give away.

Definitely no on Bills. Way too far to drop.

I’m intrigued by the Jets offer. If they offered one more piece, I’ll probsbly do it.

Marshall, Hart, Armstrong are the easy ones.

Possibly DRC, Jerry, Dwayne Harris depending on how things play out

Those are pretty much the ones I had in mind.  Not sure about drc but everyone else.  Brandon saves us roughly 5 million, the other guys maybe another 2 million.

Just accepted the deal that was on the table with the Jets.

We traded our 2nd overall pick

Landed

1st round pick 6

2nd round pick 5

first round pick in 2019.

Good trade. That 2019 pick will definitely be valuable.

We are allowed to make a total of 3 restructures and/or extensions.

Obviously, in order to stay competitive in free agency, I've got to free up some money for this year.

Options are as follows:

Eli Manning's restructure saves us almost 5 million this year.

Olivier Vernon restructure saves us almost 8 million.

Janoris Jenkins restructure saves alsom 7 million.

Our extension's are pretty limited in this mock.  We've got two players Eli Manning and Odell, extending odell doesn't really effect our cap because I can backload the contract, so the 2018 cap hit is basically the same.

For cap savings, I'm thinking restructure Vernon's contract saving us 8 million and extend Odell saving us nothing but we need to get that done.

Gives us one left should we need it later.

You could always trade Janoris to me! I mean you still have Eli Apple to play corner!
