Norwell was franchised so that removes him.

Jensen is the top priority with Norwell off the market. Re-Sign Fluker, sign Jonathan Cooper to a buy low deal (somewhere around $3-4M should be enough, those two together would cost less than Pugh for the same amount of games on average), go after Cameron Fleming (try for a two year deal, one year deal would be fine), and go after Chris Hairston to be a back up (starter in emergency). Then draft to fill the voids. Alex Cappa is starting to look more and more like a franchise LT when I watch him. He's mean, athletic, and has power, if we trade down I'll have to put on my selling shoes to convince y'all, but I believe Cappa is worth a first rounder. Braden Smith, Isaiah Wynn, and Will Hernandez are options in earlier rounds, and their are a ton of small school guys that have day 1 potential IMO. The interior O-Line talent is being severely underrated this year.

I haven't looked at the numbers for Jensen, but I'm fine with bringing back Richburg, man just needs better talent around him. Also, he'd be cheaper simple because of the slight discount for resigning him. How the free agency works in this mock draft All bids are blind we have 6 reserve bids that we can make on our own free agents, and if another team bids on them it puts the reserve into the mix of highest offer. We get a 6% increase in our reserve bids to act as a "home field" advantage. We get 3 bids per fa bidding round to use on UFA. We can offer contracts to any UFA regardless of talent or cost. Each player has an expected contract length as well as an APY. We can't offer less than that amount but we can offer less in terms of contract length but it does hurt our chances. After each bidding round the players expected APY is decreased by 10%. Here is the link for UFA players. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/193KPNZyiCYMmQKqB3lTU6Xlpm-3ONrghfhkpKzGVqDI/edit?usp=sharing I'd post here but there are 481 names. ny92mike
Also, Nigel Bradham OLB for Philly was tagged with the transition. He'd make a great addition to our defense. His APY is a little over 11 million. We could offer a 4 year contract offer sheet that carries no compensation and see if Philly matches or declines the offer. ny92mike
Eli Apple update. Teams are interested but not willing to give up what we're asking. Do we lower the price or just take him off the market?
ny92mike
KC is interested in Apple for 3rd round value, but picks are limited so it would likely be a lessor pick with a player. ny92mike
@Acgott Kevin Dodd hasn't done much since being drafted in the 2nd round but I think he's playing out of position. Better suited for a 43DE. We can get him for our 5th rounder. Thoughts?
ny92mike
Went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Dodd trade. Gave up our 5th rounder. Personally, think he's better suited for the 43 end than 34 linebacker. Gives us depth.
