Not a bad pick at all for the Falcons in Hurst.  I would prefer Daron Payne of the 2 but it's still a solid pick.   Mostly because i see Payne as more as that run stuffing DT who acn also pass rush a good bit.  Which is what we will probably need if Poe leaves.  Where as i think Hurst is more of a Grady Jarrett type DT and Grady is already one of the best in the league at that position.  If Vea and Payne were already gone then Hurst or Bryan would be my backup choices at DT in the 1st round.

Do you think Atlanta would take Bryan in the 1st Round if all 3 of the others were gone or address another position? Or even possibly a trade down?

Oh for sure we still need a SDE/DT like Bryan because Adrian Clayborn is more than likely gone in FA.   The only DT we have on the roster as it sits is Grady Jarrett.  All these guys are FA  Dontari Poe, Adrian Clayborn, Courtney Upshaw, Ahtya Rubin, Ben Garland, and we already released Rashede Hageman earlier this year.   Even if we resign Poe we need another bigger DT/DE.

I wouldn't be fully against a trade down either if we could pick upa  extra 2nd or 3rd round pick out of the deal.  We have needs at DT, OG, TE, LB, and WR.  The 1st 2 in the trenches are our biggest needs though so a trade down would help with that as 90% of the OG's are solid round 2 value and i wouldn't take one outside Nelson or Mcglinchy in round 1 because of that reason.  Don't reach on a position where theirs so much talent in the next round you can choose from.   DT isn't quite as deep as OF in round 2 with quality ones so im more inclined to take DT in round 1 or if we do trade down like you suggested then maybe get Taven Bryan there if availble and if not then go with the best OG available and take a guy like Settle, Phillips, or B.J. Hill with one of the next 2 picks.

Love Brown for the Bengals, especially since the three defensive guys I'd target went in the three picks before our spot.  Not as high on Jefferson as others, but it hits a need.  Would have preferred a center there, but since they are all still on the board after the second round, besides Price, I'd hope we'd snag one in the third.

Highly doubt we spend another premium pick on a receiver. They just drafted Davis top 5 last year and Taywan Taylor in the 3rd round. Still have Rishard Matthews and Tajae Sharpe is coming back next season. That’s 4 receivers who can get a high volume of snaps. I think they may pick up a mid level FA but I highly doubt they target a receiver anywhere in the first 3 rounds. I’d be intrigued by Michel or Guice at 25. Ronnie Harrison would also be a solid pick at 25.  The 2nd round pick is a very good pick.

I think that is a very logical set of picks for the Bills. I could see them swapping round the O line and D line picks in terms of rounds 1 and 2, but thats personal taste really as I would be worried to not get a great DT as its so desperate a need, and there is more risk leaving it to day 2.

I thunk the bills definitely take a center in round one because they need him to play right away. And my logic for taking LB in the first rather than DT is that Rashaan Evans is far better than who will be in the 2nd Rd for you guys. Josey Jewell who don’t get me wrong I think is a good player but is a big drop off. And I don’t think there is that much of a drop off from Hurst and Payne compared to guys you can get in the 2nd like Phillips, Hill, or Settle. And I don’t think you guys will take Lamar Jackson at any point, Tyrod Taylor is already there and they’re trying to get rid of him even though he wins games. I think Lauletta would be perfect for the Bills.

Hey thanks for the input, I knew you guys needed a DT but didn’t realize the need was that extent. Do you have a list of your top 5 DT?

mine.

1. Vita Vea WASH

2. Maurice Hurst MICH

3. Da’Ron Payne ALA

4. Taven Bryan UF

5. BJ Hill NCST ( although I don’t think he will be drafted higher than Harrison Phillips. )

Thanks for the input, your guys 2nd Round pick was hard for me so that helps a lot. In the 2nd Round I had

1. Billy Price OSU

2. James Daniels IOWA

off the board. My next centers are...

3. Mason Cole MICH

4. Frank Ragnow ARK

5. Will Clapp LSU

6. Scott Quessenberry UCLA

I feel 1 if not all of those guys will be there for you guys in the 3rd Rd. What do you think?

Not going to lie I felt very comfortable with the Titans taking Ogbonnia Okoronkwo in the 2nd so glad to hear you say that. Do you think they would spend a 1st Round pick on a RB?
