potential cap casualties that you'd like to have.

Are we talking just as guys to sign, or potentially guys to trade for at below market trade value.

Denver springs to mind with Sanders / Talib / Roby or whoever they are going to dump in order to get Cousins. I can't believe that Green Bay is going to keep Cobb / Adams and Nelson on high dollar deals. Jordy Nelson looked a little slow last year, but he's also a beast in finding the end zone.

I don't think that they'll actually cut him, but I'm still intrigued by the possibility of Dez. I'm not a huge believer in him moving forward, but I would 100% take a flier on him if we could.

Andy Levitre would seem to be a good match with our offensive line scheme, and though he's never got quite back to where he was 4 years ago, he's likely better than either Tomlinson and definitely Beadles.

Robert Quinn may be the type of guy that would flourish as a pass rush specialist for us, and Mark Barron is a great run defending SAM linebacker who almost certainly can't be back with the Rams on a 9 million dollar base salary and no natrual fit in Wade's 3-4. Mychal Kendricks would also be a solid fit in that regard.

no man I mean guys that have been (will be) dumped by their current teams to save cap room and we scoop them up for pennies on the dollar.

Honestly, I would prefer Levitre to Pugh now that I think about it. Price tag would be way lower and performance would probably be comparable. Plus not worrying about injuries.

Quinn is another guy I keep forgetting about too. I think he would be more than a situational rusher. He might be 2nd and 3rd down LEO if we still intend to trot out Armstead on first down. Regardless, I've loved Quinn since college and would be stoked to have him on the roster.

I mean, I don't know that you're getting them for pennies on the dollar. They are hitting the open market, after all.  If Dez or Jordy hits the market, you're not exactly getting them on 1 year, 6 million dollar deals more than likely. Getting them for pennies on the dollar is something more akin to taking on the current salary but only giving up nominal return via trade. Kind of like the Boldin trade a few years back. Once they hit the open market, it's anyone's guess what they will get.
