LSU_logo.gif Arden Key*, 3-4OLB, LSU
Height: 6-5. Weight: 260.
Projected 40 Time: 4.70.
Projected Round (2018): 1-2.

2/3/18: Team sources think Key has high first-round talent and that he could be a devastating pass-rusher in the NFL. In a survey of league sources, Key was considered to be among the elite talents of this draft class. However, teams have major off-the-field concerns with Key and think they could cause him to slide in the 2018 NFL Draft. Key's off-the-field issues are similar to Randy Gregory or Tim Williams. While there are concerns, scouts also say that Key loves football and has worked on his own with pass-rushing guru Chuck Smith to develop his skills. Key has to interview extremely well in order to be a high pick

RD1 (Buffalo)

SouthCarolina_logo.gif Hayden Hurst*, TE, South Carolina
Height: 6-5. Weight: 250.
Projected 40 Time: 4.65.
Projected Round (2018): 1-2.

2/10/13: Team sources say that Hurst is the only tight end they were really excited about in this year's class. They felt he is the only tight end prospect who is of a similar caliber to last year's group who went in the first and second round.

RD2:

NotreDame_logo.gif Equanimeous St. Brown*, WR, Notre Dame
Height: 6-4. Weight: 205.
Projected 40 Time: 4.50.
Projected Round (2018): 1-3.

2/10/18: St. Brown had 33 receptions for 515 yards and four touchdowns in 2017. Throughout the season, St. Brown got open through his excellent route-running while also seeing a lot of double teams, but the immense struggles of Notre Dame's quarterback play and passing offense limited St. Brown.

RD3 Comp:

Georgia_logo.gif Lorenzo Carter, OLB, Georgia
Height: 6-6. Weight: 242.
Projected 40 Time: 4.75.
Projected Round (2018): 2-4.

2/3/18: Carter was improved as a senior while starting to play up to his athletic potential. He showed dangerous edge-rushing skills against Notre Dame and made a lot of big plays to help the Bulldogs win in South Bend. In 2017, Carter had 57 tackles with 4.5 sacks, three forced fumbles and 7.5 tackles for a loss. Sources say they are giving Carter third- or fourth-round grades, although the team that likes him enough to draft him could take him earlier.

RD4:

Oregon_logo.gif Tyrell Crosby, OT, Oregon
Height: 6-5. Weight: 310.
Projected 40 Time: 5.28.
Projected Round (2018): 3-5.

1/22/18: In the early going of 2017, Crosby had to work off some rust after missing almost all of 2016, but he still opened a lot of holes for running back Royce Freeman, who racked up a lot of yards on the year. Crosby did not allow a sack or hit on the quarterback in the first five games of the season. He was invited to play at the Senior Bowl.

Wagner_logo.gif Greg Senat, OT, Wagner
Height: 6-7. Weight: 300.
Projected 40 Time: 5.20.
Projected Round (2018): 4-6.

1/22/18: Some sources felt that Senat was the best of the offensive linemen at the East-West Shrine. Senat has strength and surprising movement skills. As one scout described him, "Senat is a fire hydrant that can move." After playing at Wagner, Senat has shown the skill to make the jump in competition from his time in St. Petersburg, and those tests will continue with a NFL team after the 2018 NFL Draft.

RD5 (comp):

Florida_logo.gif Antonio Callaway*, WR, Florida
Height: 5-11. Weight: 197.
Projected 40 Time: 4.46.
Projected Round (2018): 4-6.

2/10/18: Callaway didn't play in 2017 because of a suspension. He ended up in pre-trial diversion after reportedly facing felony fraud charges for allegedly transferring money from a stolen credit card. NFL teams already had major off-the-field concerns about Callaway. While he loves football, he has a lot of issues in terms of hanging out with bad influences, and teams are concerned about him consistently failing drug tests in the NFL. Callaway was suspended repeatedly by Florida, and he hurt his team by earning another suspension to start the 2017 season.

Illinois_logo.gif Jaylen Dunlap, CB, Illinois
Height: 6-1. Weight: 190.
Projected 40 Time: 4.45.
Projected Round (2018): 4-6.

1/22/18: Dunlap has an excellent combination of size and speed for his NFL team to work with. He wasn't a star for Illinois, but sources say he is draftable and has the skill set to be a better pro than college player. Dunlap has good size and is said to run very fast in the 40. Like most big corners, he has tightness in off-man coverage and is better off playing press-man and getting physical.

Connecticut_logo.gif Folorunso Fatukasi, 3-4DE, Connecticut
Height: 6-4. Weight: 303.
Projected 40 Time: 5.15.
Projected Round (2018): 3-5

2/3/18: Fatukasi notched 45 tackles, 7.5 for a loss and four sacks in 2017. He had an impressive week at the East-West Shrine. Fatukasi was quick at the point of attack and also strong to hold his ground. He showed the versatility to fit a 3-4 or 4-3 defense.

RD6:

Alabama_logo.gif Bo Scarborough*, RB, Alabama
Height: 6-2. Weight: 228.
Projected 40 Time: 4.54.
Projected Round (2018): 4-6.

2/10/18: Scarborough averaged 4.8 yards per carry in 2017 for 596 yards with eight touchdowns on 124 carries. He had 17 receptions for 109 yards as well. Scarborough has the upside to have produced more, but Damien Harris served as Alabama's feature back while others were splitting carries with Scarborough. Scarborough left school early, which was a questionable decision. On the negative side, he didn't play well enough or produc enough to prove he can be a NFL starter. On the positive side, he probably would have had fewer carries as the third-string back behind Damien Harris and Najee Harris in 2018. Both of them are more talented than Scarborough.

Utah_logo.gif Lowell Lotulelei, NT, Utah
Height: 6-2. Weight: 310.
Projected 40 Time: 5.40.
Projected Round (2018): 6-FA.

2/3/18: In 2017, Lotulelei had 16 tackles with a pass batted and 1.5 sacks. He is a plugger nose tackle, but he doesn't make stops in the ground game and lacks an ability to contribute in the pass rush

I would think GB would have to send something other than 14 and a 3rd to Buffalo to get those two firsts, but QB trading back to 21 in the 1st round for just a 3rd? Naaah.

I wouldn't want to move down either for that. But yes, we would have to send our 2nd and even that may not be enough. The trade value chart isn't completely accurate, but the team that trades down almost always loses value on that chart. Gb sending 14 and 2nd for 21 and 22 is 1540 for 1580. Pretty close and it may work, but more than likely if GB put it out there they were looking to move down, we would have to send something else on top of that

Yeah, the only thing that could change that would be the QB they want sitting there at 14. They might overpay for that.

For comparison's sake:

- us sending 14 and 3rd is 1300 points.

- us sending 14 for Buffalo 21 and 3rd is 1100 for about 965, which would be the likely deal.

Anyways, yeah, if there was a QB they would look at that. I think it's likely the QBs will be gone by 14 with Arizona a candidate to move up as well, so Buff and Arizona will probably fight over those picks 10-12 like we saw last year.

Would really like this offseason but I don't see it as all that realistic.  We're not signing Manziel.  I don't think Buffalo would give up that sort of ransom and I think  a lot of the players selected are going to be taken much sooner than predicted.

Only if GB's new GM is an idiot. To move up 7 slots is a 600 PT value difference. A 3rd rounder is worth about 265. #21 and #33 (if they own that) would be the best value balance.

You must have a different pick value board than I do. I know there are a few out there. I would NEVER trade #14 for #21 and a 3rd. I would be pissed at Guty if he did. Take a difference maker at #14 unless you get a boatload of picks / value for it.
