Don’t understand what you don’t get? The closer the draft gets the smokescreen and false reports happen. Believe less what you hear now. What you might hear around the combine is more true than what you hear a few weeks before the draft. That’s what I’m saying.

Giants won’t do so until they’re on the clock to A) weigh other offers, and B) see who’s available at 2. Giants trying to drive up that asking price? Most likely also I'm sure they are hoping the browns do a browns move and draft allen. Then they will draft Dornald. If he's not there then they trade out. Wentz: 64.1% completion percentage, 45TD/14 INT, 8.4 YPA, 153 Rating Allen: 56.2% completion percentage, 44 TD/21 INT, 7.8 YPA, 138 Rating Seriously quit trolling, it's beyond embarrassing at this point. You do know you are comparing 4 years of production to 3 right? Outside of the comp % what strikes you as being dissimilar?

That comp percentage is pretty important - that big of a discrepancy is a pretty big issue.

Ignoring the "except completion percentage" part, which is probably the most important number: *Except that they have an almost identical number of passes thrown (649 for Allen and 612 for Wentz). Allen had 25 career starts to Wentz who had 23. https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/josh-allen-7.html (Josh Allen) https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/carson-wentz-1.html (Carson Wentz) If you can't read stats, then you're a lost cause. Yards per attempt is worse for Allen. Turnovers are MUCH worse for Allen.

Also, both were full time starters for two seasons - so the 4 v 3 is pretty disingenuous. Wentz missed more time due to injury and put up better numbers from a bulk perspective as well as an efficiency perspective.

This is a significant "IF" here. If this is the reach we're gonna take, we can probably put several guys ahead of him with a similar if: - IF Vince Young had even average football IQ, he'd be the best QB prospect of all time. - IF Jamarcus Russell had any semblance of a work ethic, he'd be the best QB prospect of all time. - IF Matt Leinart had a few more miles on his fastball, he'd be the best QB prospect of all time. Developing that anticipation isn't easy. Some might even say it's either something you have, or something you don't have.
Dr LBC
Not so much a rumor as news-ish... and proof that someone involved with NFL scheduling has a dark sense of humor. Watch yo chain, Crabs! (It seems to never end for this guy.)
