QBin2017
Good draft but just a heads up from a Texans fan. We have about $65M in cap space. Needs at LT/RT/LG/CB/Slot CB/SS and our new GM said we will be VERY active in FA. I'm guessing we go after a Safety, LT and a LG prior to the draft. Also someone at (ESPN?) had us as the 2nd most desirable landing spot for free agents this year. No income tax, young franchise QB with Foreman/Fuller/Miller/DHop to put up points and talent all over the Defense (albeit big holes in the secondary)
JaguarCrazy2832
I feel like bridgewater and mccarron make more. Also I highly doubt we sign Arob to a 6 yr deal coming off an ACL injury especially since the per yr rate only diminished 2m vs the franchise tag

Thanks for the insight into thr Texans. I will be more interested now to see what happens with them.

gopherwrestler
I understand Richardson for Minnesota and like that, but the only thing that is scatching my head is Sony Michael in the third round. We have Murray locked up and just drafted Dalvin Cook last year. Seems a touch on the early side to go after a RB with a strong need at the guard position with no F/A signed at the position. Trentwannabe
Jeremy Hill is a bad choice in Buffalo. I could get behind Ja. Brown, Richburg and Joeckel as depth but not starters. I like the first two picks but am wondering what the heck Buffalo is doing at QB?
Bobby816
I like your draft pick for the Jets and that's about it. The FA is pretty awful. The Jets are all in on Cousins. That's Plan A, B and C. If they miss out on him they will just bring back McCown and draft a QB at 6 or even possibly trade up for a QB they want. They're not going to overpay a guy like Keenum... it's Cousins or a rookie. Few other FA issues. Jets dont need a RB bad enough to overpay a guy like Hyde. You don't have us signing a WR which we do need. WE need a C and OG and you have us signing an OT which we dont need. There's literally no way we resign Johnson at C. I do like the Gaines pickup though. Overall I give this a C- I like the draft pick and Gaines and that's it.

I thought about Cousins going to NY but I think ultimately he'll prefer to be in a different situation with the Vikings coming off an NFC Championship. Keenum signing doesn't mean he'd be overpaid. I think its more like the best remaining option for both sides. Cousins is plan abc but what if the Jets are his C option? Does McCown one more year and a second round QB (with Chubb at 6) outweigh Keenum for two years and more time to develop a second round QB (Benkurt, Falk, Rudolph)? Hyde isn't the top need but an upgrade would go a long way on offense. I don't expect he would get a huge contract either. The tackle signing is depth. Not really a market for Donaldson I don't think. Why don't you think the center will be back?

Well since I have known McCown is wanted back with the Jets, then maybe once the market dries up for Case Keenum he will be your short term investment instead of the Jets. LinderFournette
1) Jags wont let Allen Robinson walk for nothing. u dont let 23 year old Number 1 wrs walk for nothing. he will be at worst franchise tagged. 2) the Jags wont sign Paul Richardson because there is no reason to sign Richardson who probably would cost the same as resigning lee. 3) i get the idea of picking a Pass catching TE but im not entirely sure if hes worth the pick when we can Nab a Stud RT like McGlinchey or Orlando Brown and have a great Tackle Tandem for a few years at the least. i dont think Coughlin values Pass Catching TEs very much especially ones who primarily were lined up as a WR vs being inline. the only real pass catching TE that i recall was shockey and he was there cuz he was drafted in 2002 and Coughlin got there in 2004.
