Whether we go a little crazy in free agency or even make a trade or two, we're gonna need money. We've got quite a few guys who are gonna demand high dollar contracts soon. So we can't go balls out without a reasonable amount of cap space. So who do you think should get the axe? We can cut the following with no dead money: Doug Martin (save $6.75M) ❌ William Gholston (save $6M) Robert Ayers (save $6M) Chris Baker (save 4.875M) ❌ Jacquizz Rodgers (save $1.6M) We can cut the following with little dead money: JR Sweezy ($1.25M in dead money, $4M saved) Demar Dotson ($250K in dead money, $4.115M saved) Joe Hawley (125K in dead money, $2.375M saved) Chris Conte ($125K in dead money, $2.1M saved) Current cap space after cuts: $72,156,463M Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
