Just Want A Title
I read that the Bucs released Doug Martin. His production has definitely declined. Do you think it is because of injuries or just a bad O-Line? Tampa's O-Line (or offense as a whole) hasn't been very good the last couple of years. Thoughts? detfan782004
A little bit of both. Would be a good third down back if a team needed one.
flyguy1609
I want no part of doug martin. I didn't think he was worth the contract the bucs gave him a few years ago. id rather go Dion Lewis/ Crowell instead

There's no way Bob Quinn is signing Martin, I'd rather have Abdullah everyday of the week
IDOG_det
If the Lions sign Doug Martin it would be similar to the Stevan Ridley signing. He wouldn't be brought in as a part of the projected 53 man roster but he would be given a chance to compete for it. If they sign Martin it would still be likely that they go after another FA and draft another RB. I wouldn't mind him being brought in under those circumstances. NFL_Fan
I don't think Doug Martin would be a good choice to sign at RB. Not a long lifespan on RB's in the NFL. With our luck he gets injured, so that money could have gone elsewhere. The numbers also dont lie. Ranked #82 on bleacher report Tion Green is even ranked higher then him on NFL.com and cbs
