berlin calling
oof. Rams are not joking around and building a contender. maybe a change of scenery does Peters good, when he keeps his head straight this is a steal for the Rams getting such a young talent on the team. Doesn't really matter what the draft pick is, to be honest. Worse case scenario is that the Rams gave up a first rounder and Peters is worth a first rounder from a team that has deep playoff aspirations. Sounds like it's multiple picks. Trentwannabe
Is LAR going to participate in the draft this year? Hard to imagine it's not a first for Peters.

We're taking the Seattle approach, but with younger players.
wackywabbit
Two offseasons in a row, the Chiefs making long-term moves instead of building up a potential strong contender.

RandyMossIsBoss
I like this move for both sides. Chiefs get rid of a headcase who has likely been causing them issues off the field for ages and get fair compensation, Rams get a top notch CB, who hopefully will mature a bit through this process. Trade could be a bit of a wake-up call for him. You already got kicked off your college team, now you essentially got kicked off the team that drafted you? The time for your 2nd contract, generally the biggest contract a player will ever get, is on the horizon as well, it's now or never.
