Sedale Threatt is up next for the Big Man on the all-time assists chart.

Passed Sedale. Got Mack Calvin up next, followed by Elgin Baylor. Not gonna crack top 100, as he would need 800 more assists to do that.

Fun fact, Tim Duncan is #100 all-time in assists, with 4225. James Harden will definitely pass him next year though.

He's at 3483 Personal Fouls. Will definitely get to 3500 by the end of the season. That will put him Top 30 All-Time, lol.

#29 All-Time now. Will make his way to top 25 All-Time next year, passing KG, Divac, Bellamy, and Kurt Thomas.

I honestly think Dirk has indirectly changed the way the game is played more than any of his peers. He not only helped legitimize the euro prospect, but he brought to the table the concept of your biggest man also being one of your sharpest shooters. With a generation of players who grew up watching Dirk succeed and thus having the jump shot drilled into them despite their size, the NBA was allowed to utilize so much of these modern floor spacing sets that run rampant. Nothing demonstrates his impact more than these figures:

Number of seasons for a 7 footers averaging a three per game

1979-2015: 16 (11 courtesy of Dirk)

2016-2018: 21

Number of seasons for a player listed as a big man averaging a three per game

1979-2014: 42

2015-2018: 36

Yeah, there are a lot of stretch 4s now in the NBA. If you don't have a face-up jumper as a 4, odds are your team(s) will ask you to develop that part of your game. See Blake Griffin.
