If so this a horrible deal for him, locking himself into what would be a woefully underpaying shoe deal if he turns out to show even a shred of star potential in the NBA. The guaranteed $1M out the gate though makes skipping college worth it for sure.
11sanchez11
probably UA. And he will probably be the last one of our '19 class (not including transfers). We are still in it for Jeremiah Robinson-Earl and Zeke Nnaji. But JRE is going to 'Nova and Nnaji is KU bound most likely.
11sanchez11
And 'Zona it is. Kinda crazy how good Arizona high school basketball has gotten in the last couple years. Ayton and Bagley. Now our whole class played in Arizona (Mannion, Green, and Armstrong).

DalCowboyzRule
4* guard Jahmius Ramsey. Top 35 player according to 247, top 40 according to Rivals. It’s either Texas Tech or Memphis and I feel pretty good about it. would be an amazing pickup.

Some believe the recruiting falls off once Penny is no longer going after kids he personally coached, but I believe they will see fairly good results early off sheer talent from this 1st full class of his, which adds even more momentum for the program, and that to go along with a coaching staff of former recent players who can relate to the kids better than most staffs will lead to continued success on the recruiting trail. Unless Penny is just a truly bad coach, Memphis will run the American.
11sanchez11
And Nnaji goes to Zona! Surprising. The UA boards almost always know when someone is committing and they had him as KU bound. I'll take it. I believe that puts us as #1 in the recruiting ranks.
