Wyld Stallyns
http://nfltraderumors.co/2018-cap-space-carryover-32-teams/ Colt’s are carrying over $16.8 M which is the 6th most of any team. Both the 49ers and Browns will carry over $50+M the expectation is that the salary cap will be approx $178 million so the Colts would have a cap of $194.5 M The Colts also have $128 M in contracts but will only have to count the top 51 ($118M) contracts until final cuts so they essentially have $76.8 M in cap space. *Edit* I didn’t math right, listed a cap of $184.5 million when I meant $194.5M
Warhorse
Timing is good. Part of the credit for this belongs to Ryan.
Wyld Stallyns
The NFL set the cap for 2018 at $177.2 M so with the carryover the Colt’s team salary cap will be $194M
tom cody
Interesting. Do we fill the team out with good talent or just names I wonder?

Well we have our answer. This FA period has been so frustrating. I do not agree with Ballard's philosophy.
Warhorse
Ballard is playing this just as I have wanted him to. If he threw top money at high priced FA's during the early stages of this team reconstruct, I would have been very disappointed. Keep it up!
