TheRealMcCoy
It was time. Been seeing him rated lower and lower over the years. I'm sure his presence will be missed in the locker room. Definitely seemed like a funny guy.

You only acknowledge your punter when he sucks usually. He ranked 14th in 2013, 16th in 2014, 27th in 2015, 29th in 2016 according to Bleacher's player grading. Don't think they did grades/rankings for specialists this year. However, it just takes a simple search to see Donnie was mediocre in terms of average and bad in terms of getting it inside the 20 (probably what's fallen off the most). Now that isn't the greatest way of scouting how he did this year, but Jones has definitely fallen off in recent seasons. 3 hours ago, Jroc04 said: So, Cameron Johnston then I guess. Yes and another rookie punter I'm sure. I doubt its one we draft as we don't have a lot of picks and probably think well enough of Johnston. 808
How dare you guys take a swing at Donnie Du rag! @ianlewis16 @BLick12 @TheRealMcCoy Jones punted seven times in the 2017 postseason. Five inside the 20, one touchback, one fair catch. And zero punt return yards. In his last 10 career games, Jones punted 41 times, allowing just 38 return yards. The Eagles this year became the first Super Bowl champion to not allow a single opposing punt return yard during the postseason since the 1990 Giants. Jroc04
Clowns forget so fast. Donnie was a weapon at one point. A legit field position weapon.

Don't get me wrong, he had a couple great seasons here, but it just felt like this past season especially, he was a lot more inconsistent.
oland11
That face mask though. So ugly. I wish the NFL allowed the single bar still. Can’t hate a guy when he has the single bar.
Jeezla
TBH I knew we were going to win the SB when he introduced himself as Donnie "Bag of Bones" Jones.
Phire
The Patriots were so afraid of Bag of Bones Jones they preferred to let us convert on third and fourth downs to avoid his punts.
